What's new from witMetrics: January 2024

Happy New Year! As we step into 2024, the witMetrics team is thrilled to kick things off by introducing a slew of new features and enhancements to elevate your witMetrics experience.

Your feedback since our launch in November has fueled our feature development and we're looking forward to continuing this collaborative journey with you into the new year.

Key highlights

This being our first Product Updates post, it's a bit of a long one. So here are the highlights:

  • A brand new calendar & agenda that lets you quickly filter & update bookings. It's also adaptable -- you can choose whether your weeks start on Sunday or Monday, whether weekends are shown, and how you prefer dates to be displayed.
  • You can now filter interactions in the Lead Overlay. For example, if you don't want to see when tasks or bookings were created, you can choose to just see your notes.
  • You can view a lead's property history and restore a property to a previous value. Accidentally delete part of a phone number? No worries.
  • The witMetrics Insights platform features a new Segments page for viewing detailed reports about where leads are coming from & which lead segments are performing best.

A brand new calendar & agenda

We've completely overhauled the Calendar page for faster & easier booking management.

New controls at the top of the calendar allow you to filter bookings by their status and who they're assigned to. For example, if you only want to see your own bookings and hide the ones you've already completed, you can filter out the rest.

We've also added the option to hide weekends from your calendar. If your practice is only open Monday to Friday, why not use that extra space to see the rest of your week more clearly?

You can now toggle between Month and Week views. The arrows in the calendar header let you easily navigate from between weeks or months.

To view the agenda for a particular day, click on a date's number and a detailed view will open. Alternatively, you can also access your agenda via the shortcuts menu in the site header.

Double-clicking anywhere on a day now opens up a new booking. In Week view it even automatically selects the booking's start time based on where in the day you clicked. For example, double-clicking at the top of an hour could auto-select 13:00 while the bottom of the hour would select 13:45.

Clicking on a booking now shows more details about it. From there you can open the Lead Overlay, update the booking's status, and edit or delete the booking.

Lastly, based on user feedback, bookings now default to 30 minute durations instead of an hour.

Leads

Accidentally changed a lead's phone number? Want to see when a lead's enquiry status changed? You can now view a property's history and restore it to previous values. Want to remove a property completely? That's an option, too.

A lead's timeline can become pretty busy, especially if you've made several tasks or bookings for them. The solution? Show the interactions you want to see and filter out the ones you don't. It'll remember your preference so you don't have to re-add a filter every time you view a lead.

Accounts

Under your Profile Settings, there's a new Preferences tab where you can choose how you'd like dates to appear (mm/dd/yyyy or dd/mm/yyyy) & whether calendar weeks start on Sundays or Mondays.

Sometimes emails seem to disappear in busy inboxes. If a user's been invited to witMetrics but can't find their invitation email, you can just send them a new one via the Team tab in your practice preferences.
